Industrial Continuous Inkjet (CIJ Inject) printers are used for coding and marking products and packaging during the manufacturing and packaging process. The continuous inkjet printing process produces text or code by ejecting electrically charged droplets of ink from a printhead nozzle and sending the individual droplets through an electric field. In a continuous inkjet printer, ink is pumped from an ink reservoir and ejected from a nozzle to create an ink jet. That jet of ink is broken up into a large number of ink droplets by high-frequency vibration. Continuous inkjet printers release ink to print directly onto the target.
